Location: Forsand
Time: 3 hours
Distance: 2,5 km
Elevation: 631 meter
When going on this hike, you should know you will be climbing 600 meters on just 2,5 km, but if you are up for it, its a lovely hike. Park by the chapel at Forsand and on the other side of the road, you will see a small fotball field where you will find the start of the trail.
When I did this hike (in the beginning of april) there was a lot of snow, which made the hike quite harder physically and also made the trail marking hard to find. The view on top was worth the climb though – you can see Hogsfjorden, Stavanger and even a little further.
You can also combine Bergefjell with a hike to Vikastakken and down to Lysefjorden, but you should have a car waiting at the end to take you back.
