From the parking lot on the south side of Edlansvannet you climb over the fence jib and follow the trail upwards. When you are at the dam, there will be a marked sign to Bursfjell. The hike passes several fence jibs (no doggy door) so its beneficial if the dog is used to walking over fence jibs. The trail is marked well all the way to the top. At the top you can either go back the same way you came or make the hike longer by taking the trail to Nonsfjell.
