Jutlandia Cup 2018

Agility + camping = true

The best part of Jutlandia, Fionia and Dania cup is that there is many competitions in one week and you have the option of camping at the competition venue. This year, as before we rented a caravan. The difference this year was that we were not so lucky with the standard of the caravan. Luckily we spent little time in the caravan with sunny weather and 25 degrees everyday.

18 runs in 6 days

Every day me and Buffy had 3 runs (except saturday due to a musclestrain Buffy had); agility, jump and open. On tuesday we got our final qualification for A3 and could finally move up. We had so many great runs, including in Open, where we got a 4th place out of over 200 dogs. We ended up on 30th place kombined (5 places from getting a spot in the finals). The best part of the week was that Buffy gained a lot of confidence, with both the seesaw and the double jump, which has been her weak spots.

BONUS!

Friday and saturday I got to run Zen’s sister, Breezy. In Jump1 we had a cleanrun and won 1st place.

Reunion with family, new friends and qualitytime

The best part of the week besides agility, was meeting Buffy and Zen’s family again. We also made some new friends from Slovenia and USA. When we had the chance we went for walks in the woods, on the beach and also to the city center of Esbjerg.
